# Settings

> Manage your profile, preferences, availability, and role settings in Nawd Bundle Buddy.

Access your settings by clicking the gear icon in the navigation, or by going to `/settings` while signed in.

## Profile

Your profile information is pulled directly from your Google account. You cannot edit your name, email, or profile photo from within Nawd.

| Field         | Source                     |
| ------------- | -------------------------- |
| Name          | Google account (read-only) |
| Email         | Google account (read-only) |
| Profile photo | Managed through Google |

To update any of these, change them in your Google account settings. The changes will reflect in Nawd on your next sign-in.

## Preferences

### Language

Switch the app interface between:

* **English**
* **日本語** (Japanese)
* **中文** (Chinese)

The language change takes effect immediately — no save required.

### Timezone

Choose your timezone so session times display correctly throughout the app. Nawd can detect your browser's timezone and offer to apply it for you.

<Tip>
  If your detected timezone differs from your saved one, Nawd displays a prompt at the top of the Preferences section. Click **Use detected timezone** to apply it in one step.
</Tip>

After selecting a timezone, click **Save timezone** to apply it.

### Default bundle view

Choose how bundles are displayed on the bundles page:

* **Grid** — card-based layout
* **List** — compact row-based layout

## Availability

Set the windows of time when you are available for sessions. Guests can only request or book sessions within your availability windows.

You can set availability in two modes:

* **Recurring** — set weekly repeating windows (e.g., Monday 9:00–17:00). Times are saved in your chosen timezone.
* **Specific dates** — define availability for individual dates instead of repeating weekly.

To switch modes, select the option in the Availability section. You will be asked to confirm before switching, as this resets your current availability configuration.

<Note>
  Availability times are stored and displayed in your saved timezone. Make sure your timezone is set correctly in Preferences before configuring availability.
</Note>

## Role settings

If your account has both the **Bundle Manager** and **Guest** roles, you can control which dashboard appears by default and toggle each role on or off.

* **Bundle Manager** — access to create bundles, manage sessions, and share with guests
* **Guest** — access to view bundles that have been shared with you

Toggle a role off to hide its navigation and dashboard. Toggle it back on at any time.

<Note>
  Role changes are saved when you click **Save changes** in the sticky footer that appears at the bottom of the page.
</Note>
